Okay, so there are these cows that are messing with me. I've never really had an issue with cows other than when Mom and I mooed at a herd of Beeson's cows on a walk to Gramma's and started a stampede - right at us! So maybe these are decendents of those cows or something but I am telling you - they are messing with me.
So these cows down the road that I drive by on my way to work. They seem to me to be living in a bucolic daydream... gently rolling fields rich with dark green grass, the sunlight streaming onto the meadow like it is painted to do so and the cows themselves are simply and bovine-ly beautiful in this field of gold. It's my goal, nay, mission to get THE picture of this pastoral nirvana (can you tell I've had too much caffiene today? But I digress).
I've called Dave on my way home shrieking at him to get the camera ready because I am going to lose the light only to get back there and the cows have gone into the barn. I've driven by the perfectly composed shot only to get back there and have them be all bunched up trying to get shade under the pitiful little tree right beside the road. I've come close to being hit by a truck as I'm trying to get a shot from the side of the road as a hard rain starts and I have to run for cover.
I've probably picked up a tick and have gotten Lyme Disease from this folly as well but just don't know it yet.
I do feel kind of tired. Is that a bite with a circle around it?
So, this is the only picture I've taken even remotely worth sharing from this misadventure that has lasted for about two months now.

I can hear them laughing at me.
I hear you and I am now going to go sit on my large leather sectional and eat a hamburger... so there.
