Catching Up

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. Apparently my psychic power of thinking about writing a post and then having it magically appear on my blog hasn't been developed well enough yet. So here it is in a nutshell We are now a banded couple! Dave had his surgery on Friday the 4th and is doing well. Here he is right before they took him in for his operation. His first one by the way. He's pretty sore but doing well. The big goober lost 25 lbs. prior to surgery. I guess that makes him a not-so-big goober. He had wanted to lose 30 but ended up being happy that he had beat my 22 pre-surgical loss. Things are starting to get very competitive around here with our weight loss which I think is actually a good thing (as long as I win!!!). I am now down 85 lbs and feeling great. Walking a lot and generally being more active. Mitchell got his glasses and looks too cute in them. He has proved to be remarkably responsible with them for a 4-year-old. We are very pleasantly surprised. And now some pics from Easter. It was so nice to have Easter at Gramma Kingery's this year. It was fun to line the kids up against the garage door for pictures after the egg hunt... JUST LIKE WE USED TO! Some things will never change and for that I am very thankful!
