My Favorites for the new TV season

Comedy: Pushing Daisies
Fresh, smart, witty and sweet. Just like your favorite piece of pie. LOVED Kristin Chenowith singing Hopelessly Devoted to You on last night's episode. If you haven't seen it yet, at least give it a shot. We were hooked from the first episode.

Drama: LIFE
We thought it looked interesting but missed the first couple of episodes. We caught up when they reshowed them on USA. Luckily for us. Again, fresh concept and smart writing, especially for a cop show. The quote about the universe judging us because it's "insecure" was been my favorite line of anything I've seen in a long time. Definitely try to catch LIFE.

Haven't found any reality shows that interest me now that Top Chef has wrapped up for this season. I nearly stopped watching when my Summer TV boyfriend CJ was eliminated from the competition. OH BIG TIME! CJ is just a tall, muscular, funny drink of water. I hated that Haung won not because he couldn't cook but he was just a jerk. On any other day I think it would have been Casey. I would have even cheered for Dale. Congrats to Casey on being Fan Favorite. I thought for sure that would go to my CJ.

ALTHOUGH I do really like Tim Gunn's Guide to Style but they are already showing repeats after three episodes. That's crazy. And Veronica Webb annoys me. Tim, I just want to hug and talk him into taking me shopping! Carry on, Tim! Carry on.

And while I'm on a roll here, I just have to say that I feel bitch slapped by the producers of LOST. February? We are supposed to wait until February for it to come back on? People, I can't remember what I did yesterday and I'm going to be able to pick right back up after 11 months or so of it being off the air? You are mean and wicked people and should be ashamed of yourselves.
But, I'll be watching along with everyong else when it comes back on. Grrr. Arrrgh.
